When you opt in to receive SMS notifications from a business using LocalMenu, we collect your mobile phone number. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information through the opt-in process.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your phone number is used solely to send you SMS messages from the specific local business you opted in to follow. These messages may include menu updates, daily specials, announcements, and other business notifications. Message frequency varies by business. Message and data rates may apply.

3. No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is not used for any purpose other than delivering messages from the business you subscribed to. We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider; your phone number is transmitted to Twilio solely to send messages on behalf of the business.

4. How to Opt Out

You can cancel your SMS subscription at any time by replying STOP to any message. After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. To re-subscribe, reply START. For help, reply HELP.

5. Data Retention

We retain your phone number and subscription status for as long as you are subscribed to a business. Upon opting out, your record is marked inactive. You may request deletion of your data by contacting the business directly.
